We have a vision to build a new church. God has provided us a beautiful piece of land that is just over three acres and located only 1/4 of mile up the road to build a new church on. We know God has had his hand on this project thus far, and we have faith he will continue to provide. We have had some grade work done, but as soon as the weather breaks, will begin the building process. Check back periodically to see pictures of the progress. God spoke to Brother Wade in a dream after the land was purchased and the ground was broken. In that dream Bro. Wade saw a house that was torn down. But as he was looking at the house, his brother-in-law came up behind him and told him "The second house will be greater than the first!" We as a church have clung on to that. We feel it means both physically and spiritually, that our new church is in the Will of God. In fact it goes along with Haggai 2:9 "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts:"
All the pictures below that you see are of the things we have done so far. It is important for you to know that all that you see has already been paid for, from buying the land, to the grade work, to the start of the building that you see in the pictures. We are not a church full of rich people, but the people of this church and community have banded together to fund raise and to work towards this goal. It is our hope that we can at least get it under roof without borrowing a penny. The former statement is not meant to uplift the people of Buckeye Hollow Church, but to let you know that God is with us in this project and what he has provided for us so far!
"And they said, Let us rise up and build. So theystrengthened their hands for this good work." (Nehemiah 2:18)
