Our Last Service at the Old Church - June 3, 2023
June 3, 2023 — Our Last Service at the Old Church
On June 3, 2023, we gathered together for our last service on Saturday night at the old church.
While it was certainly a sad occasion, we were also thankful for the many years of memories made within those walls. So many precious saints worshipped there, prayed there, were saved there, and experienced the presence of God there.
God blessed in that little church.
We left that night with heavy hearts, knowing that we were saying goodbye to a place that had meant so much to so many of us. But even in our sadness, we could feel the Spirit of God moving among us, ushering us onward toward what He had prepared for us in our new church.
We may have left with heavy hearts, but those hearts were full of memories—memories of lives changed, prayers answered, souls saved, miracles witnessed, friendships made, and countless blessings from the Lord.
The building may have been small, but what God did there was anything but small.
Those walls will always hold a special place in our hearts, and the memories and friendships made there will never be forgotten.
We closed the door one last time, but God was simply opening another one.
In the pictures of the slides, those are Bro. Robert Hayden's own words telling of God sending Help!
